MAMMOLA – FIUME TORBIDO – PASSO SELLA – SANTUARIO SAN NICODEMO – PASSO LIMINA

End of the itinerary: Passo Limina
From Mammola, take the unsurfaced road on the right that runs along the Torbido torrent, until you reach a steep ridge called Passo Sella.
Anciently, the Passo Sella route used to be the only available arterial route for the inhabitants of the Locris region and of the Plain of Gioia Tauro.
Past Passo Sella, you will reach the “Fossi di San Nicodemo plateau, where the Sanctuary of Saint Nicodemus of the Woods is located at an altitude of 703 metres above sea level. From here, a comfortable unpaved road will lead you to Passo della Limina (822 metres above sea level).
